How your donations help
Colorado crime victims
January 15, 2009
Dear Joe and Kaye,
I do not know where to start to say Thank you for what you have done for me and my family. Because of you and Voices of Victims my family and I have been able to find some answers to many unknown questions about the death of my father, L.M. Sr. We have been able to look in the eyes of the person that took him away from his family. Because of this we now have some closure.
If you had not been there with us every step of the way to hold our hands and most importantly to make it possible for us to travel from Louisiana to Colorado, to listen to all of our old memories and to just be a friend, my family and I would still have all those unanswered questions. Because we were able to attend the hearing the parole board understands that my father was a real person and he had a family that cared about him regardless of all of his flaws. We will continue to fight for justice for him as long as it’s possible.
There is a special place in Heaven for you Joe and Kaye as well as in our hearts. I learned from you and Kaye that there are still good people in this world.
With Love,
The M . . . . Family
From Louisiana
